Lockdown Easing

Following Boris Johnson’s speech, we are working to 12th April as the date for re-opening Rose Cottage. If you have booked directly with us for any dates before this then please get in touch to either move or cancel your booking. You might like to check availability on our website first? Please note, that as many bookings transferred from the first lockdown to this year, availability is quite limited until the end of September.

If you have booked through a booking agent such as Cottages.com, Hoseasons or Yorkshire Cottages then you will need to contact them as we are unable to change bookings they have made.

Finally, if you have a booking made through Air BnB then please use the app to request new dates or to cancel if this is your preference (and you can request a full refund which we will agree to). We’re really sorry that you won’t be able to stay until April 12th, we are really looking forward to welcoming our guests again.

Limited Availability

A number of bookings have been transferred from the lockdown period to later this year. Quite a few visitors have rebooked for the same time next year. Consequently, there is very little availability until February 2021. May 2021 is fully booked, and so is half of June and July. August 2021 has no availability.

Welcome to our new website – things might look a little different but we hope you like our new look. You can still check availability and book online. To book, simply enter your preferred arrival and departure dates in our availability calendar. Please note that our minimum break length is 3 nights.Rose Cottage has been very popular and we are now fully booked for this summer. Many bookings have been transferred to 2021 so we’re really sorry if we can’t accommodate you.

We have always prided ourselves on very high standards of cleaning, but to reassure you, we are now disinfecting all high touch surfaces. Items such as cushions, blankets and maps have been removed too. There is hand sanitiser, anti-bacterial soap and cleaning products too. We will follow the Covid-19 prevention guidelines created by AirBnb and Cottages.com.
